SPECTRE's goal is to provide the highest quality, cutting edge and original music cues to clients at truly competitive rates. We offer fast one-stop licensing from both established and new recording artists and composers for film, television, advertising, games and new media as well as access to select catalogues of some of the best in independent labels.

As musicians ourselves, we take pride in providing an exceptionally supportive and artist-friendly environment for our artists. SPECTRE artists always retain all writing and publishing rights to their music, our licensing agreements are all non-exclusive, and our revenue percentages of upfront licensing fees and back end royalties are amongst the most generous in the industry. Our artists also gain invaluable exposure to the music supervisors and editors, advertising agency producers, game developers, and filmmakers that make up SPECTRE’s client base.

SPECTRE currently offers three libraries of fully pre-cleared music and a collection of featured premium tracks from the cream of independent artists and labels. Our services include:

SPECTRE Music Black Label and Green Label: The Libraries

We offer two libraries of totally pre-cleared (master AND sync) music from independent artists and labels, all iTunes searchable, and in every conceivable genre! Highlights in our pre-cleared libraries include artists and labels such as: Les Savy Fav, Frenchkiss Records, Defacto (Mars Volta side project), Badman Recording Co., GSL, Lords of Altamont, Gogogo Airheart, Maurice Love and Messengers Inc., and score composers Sami Jano, Michael Hebert, Roger Julia-Sartorra and Justin Sconza (of buzz electro group Walter Meego).

SPECTRE Music Gold Label: One Stop Shopping

SPECTRE also offers clients one stop shopping for our collection of non pre-cleared music. We provide our clients access to some of the hippest and most cutting edge new releases and focus tracks without the messy negotiating between master holders and publishers. (Because SPECTRE will do it for you!) Partners in our Gold Label program include: Skinny Puppy, !!!, Meat Beat Manifesto, Definitive Jux Records (RJD2, Aesop Rock), Narnack Records (The Fall, Lee "Scratch" Perry), Light In The Attic (Betty Davis), Bloodshot Records (Neko Case, Detroit Cobras), Suretone Records (Angels And Airwaves, The Pink Spiders), Rasputina, Anticon Records, Cloud Cult, Subtle, The Mother Hips, Mae Shi, The Locust, Robert A. A. Lowe (ex 90 Day Men/TV On The Radio) and many many more.

SPECTRE Music Blue Label: Custom Scoring and Freelance Music Supervision and Clearance

In addition to the music in our libraries and Gold Label, SPECTRE offers custom score from any of our amazing Black Label composers, as well as freelance music supervision and clearance for your next project at competitive rates.

SPECTRE Music Presents: The Squeak E. Clean Trailer Collection

We’re proud to announce our partnership with emerging production talents Squeak E. Clean Productions to bring you The Squeak E. Clean Trailer Collection.  Prior to jumping into the world of film advertising with SPECTRE, Squeak E. Clean aka Sam Spiegel and his crack team of producers have made a name for themselves in the worlds of film and advertising through their hip and edgy compositions.

You've heard their music before - whether in Spike Jonze's cult classic "Yeah Right!" (the top-selling skate movie of all-time), the feature film The Boys And Girls Guide to Getting Down, or in countless high profile commercials for clients like Nike, Wendy's, Levi's, ESPN, Virgin Mobile, eBay, Toyota, Jose Cuervo, and a hugely popular Adidas campaign (Squeak E. Clean won the Gold Lion for Best Music at the 2005 Cannes International Music Festival and Silver for Original Music at the Clio Awards for the Spike Jonze directed spot which featured the Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah's Karen O. on vocals!)
